Your information
This article explains what information Luminy keeps about you, how to view and update it, and how to remove it. For full detail on how we collect and use data, see our Privacy Policy and Data Policy.
What Luminy stores
Your Luminy account is built around a small set of information:
- Profile details - the name and email address you signed up with.
- Connected account data - balances, transactions, and holdings from the institutions you choose to link, used to power your dashboard and insights.
- Preferences - settings you pick in the app, like linked accounts and display options.
Luminy never sees or stores your bank credentials. When you link an institution, you sign in through Plaid, and only the data needed to show your balances, transactions, and insights reaches Luminy.
Update your details
You can review and change your profile information from the app:
- Open Luminy and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Select Profile to edit your name or email address.
- Save your changes. They apply across your devices right away.
Manage your linked data
- You can disconnect any linked institution from the app whenever you want. Its accounts stop syncing immediately.
- Reconnecting an institution later brings your balances and transactions back - see Connect your first account.
Delete your information
You can delete your account and all your data yourself from Settings → Data in the app - no support request needed. You can also export a copy of your data first. See Data deletion for the steps, and our Privacy Policy and Data Policy for what deletion covers.
